Default mapping question

I'd like to do some editing on the original jedi academy mp maps (currently ffa1.bsp), but I can't manage it with GtkRadiant. Only ffa5 is given in a map format, and I cannot decompile ffa1.bsp with q3map2 without crashing the textures. Is it possible to create a file ffa1.map with correct textures? Or can I get it somewhere (just like ffa5.map was released with GtkRadiant)?

You cant get it anywhere, to my knowledge.
You have to decompile and retexture it yourself, although Decompiling has never worked for me.

"Sanity calms, but madness is more interesting."

"My sources are unreliable, but their information is fascinating."

"There's a distortion in space-time. Jump into it?"

"I play violent videogames! I could snap any minute!"

It's also illegal, since it's reverse engineering components of the engine.
