I like the looks of them. The wood one (that was you as well, wasn't it?) looks pretty good in-game too. Just make those scores and dents a little bit more realistic and pronounced and it's a winner ;)

I may have to make a second version of the roundshield model that's... round.

Nice shields Lazerbeak the 2nd 1 is sme sort of fancy Viking 1 I am sure blah I am to obssessed with Vikings! :P

I was going to do a Captain America one for novelty value but realised it was flat. I was also thinking about a greek shield.

Well, I fixed up the shield, adding a few scattered dents and messing with the scratches a bit. I think it looks decent enough, but that's up to you all to decide. http://forums.filefront.com/images/smilies/smilie.gif

I also went ahead and made a new shield, based on this one. Like the round shield, absolutely nothing was photosourced, unless you count the fact that I used the polygonal lasso on the picture to get the correct shape for the gold bits. :D

Anyhoo, here they are. Feel free to let me know if anything needs changing or tweaking.

Ahh, forgot about my thread! Whoops :p

I got a couple more shields added tonight, so we're up to 10 shield choices, I believe. Those last couple look good, so I'll see about adding them as well.

plus, the resolution is terrible, it looks like youve taken a screenshot from the game and cut+pasted it.
