Looking for some help with a model

OK, I would like to edit the base Stormtrooper model for a custom skin I'm making. Only problem is, I only have Gmax, and to my knowledge, you can't import glm's with it. Now, before you say anything, yes I searched (on google and this forum) and found nothing useful, and yes I tried the links and plugins in the sticky, and they didn't work. So my question is: Is there any way to edit a JKO/JKA model in Gmax?

I really hate to have to ask rather than figure it out myself but I'm desperate. If there's no way to do this, then I'll have to ask for someone with the right equipment to help me (even though I'd prefer to do it myself). I'm very sorry if I missed something obvious, as I'm totally ignorant when it comes to this stuff...

if you find an importer and exporter to the .3ds format, i will convert it from .glm into that format for you.

if you have milkshape you can import the glm in milkshape and save it as .3ds, but most sure you wont have it :P

I'm not sure if this will import to the .3ds format (it didn't say in the description), but I think this might work.

Click

EDIT: The link just takes you to the homepage. However, I do think that the exact plugin is in the tools sticky.

That would be correct. I did try to get it once, but it didn't work on my computer.
