Making a reskin its own model
 
i have made 2 reskins of player models and a reskin of a katana and i wold liek to know how i can make it so that they are their own models so that i could have both them and the originals in my base and pick wich one i want i have pakscape and other tools so any help will be greatly appritiated thanks http://forums.filefront.com/images/smilies/smilie.gif

thanks for helping with the skins now all i need is help with the saber... does it work the same??? i would imagine is would be different since its a weapon... but if you can help thanks

Texture mapping is universal so its same as skinning a player model, just clumped together more.
