My humble model request
 

Hey guys and gals, first-time poster here, with a request for a model.

As you can see from my signature, I am a Jurassic Park fan. One of the things I loved the most about those movies were the velociraptors. The raptor vehicle/NPC pack (which is where the raptor in my sig came from) was a godsend for me, and one of the best vehicle packs made, in my opinion. Only problem is, they're just vehicles (albeit extremely fun, awesome ones), what I'd really love would be a velociraptor player model. I've been thinking about how that would work, and (in theory) it is quite possible to make a raptor player model (even with the restrictions of the JK skeleton).

Now, I know that very few people would be willing to go and make a model like this (especially to satisfy one person's craving), given the difficulty of such a project, and that's perfectly understandable. If I had any modeling skills whatsoever, I'd make it myself, but seeing as I don't, I come to you. If anybody has the skills necessary for the project, and is willing to make one, then I'd be eternally grateful. If not, then it's no big deal because as I said, it's no easy task.

I don't really think that would work, since the JA player skeleton is humanoid and, let's face it, raptors aren't.

There is, of course, the velociraptor vehicle.

But really, a biped velociraptor wouldn't work, and I don't know a modeller that would be satisfied having a model look rediculous as I'm sure that would.

First, allow me to welcome you to GF!

Second, I must inform you that your sig is too big. The max. height is 100 pixels. You may want to fix that before a Mod does.

Now, on-topic, model requests generally don't get done around here lol. If you're lucky, someone might do it....and I have to ask... did you search for it?

Trust me Rebel, it doesn't exist. No modeller would ever try to make that.

I think so too, just trying to be nice(-ish) though lol.

There was a game...ah what was it? Well, the first one, you hunt dinosaurs. In the sequel, you WERE the dinosaur. I forget the name, but you might look for that. :p

Ah, well. It was worth a try, eh?

I assumed it'd work as I've seen some pretty outlandish models, some of which have legs built like a raptor's (the Mark-3 model for example).

What I'd had in mind was something like the character Alex from the Tekken games (pics here), only sans boxing gloves. I searched, and found nothing.

You might be able to use the raptor model using the playermodel command in the consol. It worked ok for the howlers and wampas so it might work.
