changing light saber damage and stuff?
 

Hope that's not been asked before and the chances of that are slim, but here I go:

How do I change the damag a weapon does? How about its speed?
The ideea is I wanna play a little with the different stances in the game, and I dont know how.

go find a saber file and open it in notepad. then its self explanitory, copy the files then pack them up again. Remember it will only work on servers that have it.

Simple, to change saber attack speeds, Go to console using SHIFT+~, press g_saberanimspeed (amount)
To change saber damages easily, If you dont already have it, get ja+ 2.2 or higher, and go to console and press jp_single and search through and change them, also goes for jp_staff and jp_dual, I do that alot, also allows you to do much admin stuff on your own servers using jp_councilpass, jp_knightpass, and jp_instructorpass.

So it can be a mod, but a mod thats already out. :)

thanks for the posts, but there was no file in witch "damage" was to be seen. If there is, and I have not found it, please point it out.

About the version: there is a dubious thing going on - when I try to run the 1.01 update, the exe simply does nothing. WTF is going on?

Thats because the default sabers are using the game's coding for it. if you'd look at a modeled saber, it'll have this:

and on the situation of the .exe, it did work, it just doesnt show it.

I normally wouldnt help you because of your snobbish attitude, but i need more posts, and if i teach you SOMETHING, you might give more thought on the models/skins of others

Ok, thanks for the help. I'll try to find out by myself what you mean by modeled saber. The exe really did nothing, the version is still the same.
Snobe: "An arrogant and annoyng person". I am annoyng, but not arrogant. If I was arrogant I would just ignore you and just say: "look at how stupid this guy is". So you are only half right. And pls do not act like gir and start swearing. :) If you dont like me, pls dont talk to me. I tried to stop pointles arguments, but if you keep pushing, I cant help it.
And I am giving thought to other peoples models, but why lie and say I really like them when I dont? I think crittics help people better than saying "wow how cool you are dude - keep up the lame work". If I think someone is wrong, I say it, but not because I wanna make myself look smart.

how can i edit lightsabers to use in the mp i have episode 1-2 lightsabers but if i choose for example an mace windu lightsaber hilt,its silver in the game theres a black "normal" saber?

Ok, from what I understand, your hilt is untextured ? maybe a file path problem? Textures not found or something...

Now, when i read this post, I laughed so damn hard. first of all, You remind me of John Kerry in the '04 election. You're complaining and bitching about the way things are done or how they look, yet you really have no room to talk. you have no clue how to alter, change, or edit the problem. you just talk shit! This is why Gir and I hate these forums so much. Most of the people who frequent it like "OMFG TEH UBER Inyri" and TRAUMA XD actually know what they're talking about...
