it should looks like the left saber but it looks like in the right screen
Are you trying to replace a pre-existing hilt? It looks like that's what you're trying to do.
If so, make sure the GLM is named appropriately. For instance, if you're trying to overwrite saber_1, then make sure the GLM is "saber_1.glm". I learned the hard way that dumping a "saber_w.glm" in there won't work
Of course, I recommend not overwriting. If you need to know how to add new sabers to SP, contact me (or Trauma - he's my master... but don't tell him I said to bug him :P) and I'll walk you through it.
I have way too many stalkers on these forums. I don't know why... I'm not that cool or anything And last I checked, Haruki's a guy. And... what EXE are we talking about? No, nevermind I said that... my sheer laziness shall not taint this thread!
OMGZ LIKE INYRI U R ME HEERO WIL U MARRIE ME PLZ KTHX.
Anyway don't argue on these forums if you want to argue take it to the melee. Also ... the problem you have is I think the game isn't loading your saber, if this is on mp it is because the saber isn't on the server if it is in SP I have no clue.
I bet that hilt Mani-man posted is a "half-build or rescaled" hilt included on a pseudo-modeller's hilt pack (I wont say names...)
The hilt does not appear because it has not been uploaded to the server, the model has to be uploaded to the server to work.
If the .exe for the update is not working, might be because the RPC (remote procedure call) service is not working properly, probably because a cpu issue, or a damaged sector in the ram.
ok, no more thread arguing shit. Haruki, check your pm.
1. The exe. I dont know where I got it. If you can recommend me a site that has a good version, please do. I am on dial-up (hopefuly not for too long) and that exe is 10 megs big.
2. the damage of the lightsaber. Haruki (or enyone), where exactly do I find that code you were talking about? Please, be more explicit. I searched the lightsaber files found in the assets, but found nothing spelled "damage".

You will have to modify the .sab files found on ext_data/sabers directory on assets1.pk3. If you dont know what to do with them I suggest you downloading the JA official SDK, you can find that on jk2files.com
ok, the file is editable with notepad, does that program do something else, or it just edits the file for you ? (cose in that case i dont need it - i'm an ace with notepad )
