Vampire Mod

Ive been wanting a this mod for a while. Pretty much you go into a server and the menu appears with the little thing at the top where you click to change classes (Like fm3) but there are only two. Vampire and Vampire Hunter. Vampires drain the life of the Hunters by using the drain that the Cultists in Single player did. Where they put you on there hand and put there hand over your face and drain force. If a hunter dies then hes a vampire then. So its survivor pretty much. Theres a time limit to survive and the vampires have unlimited lives. There doesnt even have to be any new maps.
STATS:
Vampire: 150 HP- Health Drain (15 Health at a time)- High jump- Stealthy cloak.
Vampire Hunter: 200 HP- All guns- Binoculars- 1 Life- Stake (Can be saber. If hits in heart instant kill on Vampire)
So if your up to a challenge....... Give this mod a try.

Re: Vampire Mod

Is it not too weird (not to say lame) to put vampires in star wars? Just imagine Dracula with a lightsaber. Maybe if you called the hunters and the pray otherwise, the ideea would be interesting.

Re: Vampire Mod

1. You get new models.
2. The sabers are changed into something else.
3. So who cares if its in Star wars? All good mods have nothing to do with the game.
4. IT WOULD ROCK

Re: Vampire Mod

Besides I really dont have any interest in making a mod that would take long to make, but thats not the only reason, this game is really old now, and the engine kinda sucks (dont get me wrong, it is not that bad for modding)

Here's an idea: You make it.

Re: Vampire Mod

Thats a good idea, ofcourse you can consider gathering a group of modders and work altogether to make this mod, but I wouldnt really recommend you that unless YOU DO KNOW how to mod.

Re: Vampire Mod

Well it sounds to me like he wants a bunch of new models, both player and weapon, and he doesn't know how to do anything to help with it.

People aren't even willing to make one requested model, for the most part... the odds of them doing a complete mod for you (like this one) are probably less than 0%.

Re: Vampire Mod

Indeed, specially since you want something more complicated than some models or skins.

Re: Vampire Mod

I just uploaded this into here for a idea for anyone wanting to do a mod with no ideas. Dont have to be jerks about it

Trauma Sensei April 21st, 2005 06:36 PM

Re: Vampire Mod

Do you really think a modder would have no ideas...? And we are not being jerks, because we were just giving you ideas, the fact that you might feel offended by those ideas its not our fault...>_>

Re: Vampire Mod

Since the game is so old and ALOT of people have moved on, your best bet would be to learn these things your self. There is ALOT to work with for a mod (textures, skins, models, ect) and alot has already been contributed to this game, you just need to organize it to fit your needs. I would suggest TRYING to get a mod team together and working this out. If I where you personally, I would DL and learn the following:

Behave ed-scrip maker
GTKRadiant_map maker
an art program-for skins/textures (I use photoshop)

I have tried many times in the past to get a mod going, and few people are willing to help. Yet because this engine is mod friendly and I have studied it for a few years, I still enjoy it and am still modding for it. Right now I am working on a couple different mods that HOPEFULLY will eventually see the light of day...all which I amm basically doing by myself. So from one person to another, LEARN THE ENGINE...it is the most probable way you are ever going to see such a mod for this game. Peace!
