Make a folder somewhere named "textures"...and in that folder you add another folder named something like "test" (or whatever you want). In that folder you put your textures.

Now you make a pk3 of the textures folder and takes it to Gamedata/Base.

Open up Gtk. Go to textures and set the "shaderlist only"-buttom off.

Search the textures- list after "test" (or what you had named it), and now you have the textures visible in the texturebrowser...

Not claiming to know much about radiant, but I do know a couple things about JA. Make sure the music is stereo, and it probably needs to be sampled at 44100hz.

Re: Textures

When in Gtkradiant You should press N to open the entity properties window, then select "worldspawn" at the top of that window, then enter a "music" as the key, and the path of the music mp3 as value (For instance music/mymusic.mp3). Remember to put an existing path for an existing mp3 file. If it doesn't exist create it in the pk3 file.. And remember to use This slash "/" and not this one "\". In the Pk3 file you must have a folder called "music" and in that folder the music should be (mymusic.mp3). I think that's all...
