How do you change a disruptor rifles beam color?
 

I made four disruptor rifle skins, one with winter camo, one with desert camo, one with woodland camo, and one with jungle camo. I wanted the beam color to match the disruptor rifle, (winter-white, jungle-green, etc.). I was wondering if somebody could tell me how to change the beams color.

edit the image file that the .efx file points to.

I tried that out and for some reason it didnt change anything. Have any other suggestions?
