NPC Spawn Room
 
I'm trying to make a room with buttons so people can spwan npcs without an admin on the server. I'm searched the threads and the toutorials didn't help. If someone could give me the steps to make this i would greatly apreciate it seeing its the last thing i'm looking to add to my map. I'm already tried to do it myself but so far its not workng.

yer i wanted to know the same thing but all i got was ' go to richdiesals' <-doesnt help on this and that was it so gd luk on findin out

I linked a trigger multiple to a stormtrooper. The problem is that it only spawned him once.

You need to link it to an npc_spawner that has the npc_type value set to the npc name, and a count value of -1.

Just make a trigger_multiple with a delay of 1
Link it to a NPC that has a count of -1

Doesn't it supposed to be wait instead of delay? Not sure though.

Yup, it should be wait. Set wait to 1

Wait is how many seconds it will wait before it can be triggered again. Delay is how long it takes for the trigger to activate after it is triggered. I have delay and it works fine. Either way, it should work. You can also have it so that one button spawns a whole platoon of stormies, but you should have a high wait to prevent too many to spawn right after the other. Unless you put a wait, you can hold the button forever and it will keep on giving you NPCs.

one last question that is related to this all. Is there a way to make like a npc kill all button?

I dont know if there's a way to just kill them. but if you keep them in one room you can just crush them or something.

trigger hurt or kill possibly? or maybe a trigger with teh value npc kill all possibly...

Ok all my buttons work but i have a small problem. My tauntaun once spawned doesn't stop. u kill it and theres another one spawnned right where it was. i'm not sure but i did it the same way i did the other npcs...if there a special way i need to do it seeing it is a vehicle.

Did you put delay with the value of 1 to the trigger multiple?

You need a wait in there, otherwise it will keep spawning the NPC OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER again...

okay im making a map with a two bridge. you can only access one of them. but the other you can see. in that its supposed to be npc's going over it with walk (ill do that in the npc filfe ;) ) then when they are over they go into a port and they die silent then a new comes etc. etc. etc. but how can i make it spawn with like 20 secs wait.? without triggering?

Thank you everyone for all your help. i've managed to get the map completed and posted on pcgamemods.com Thanks for all your help seeing as it never would have been possible with everyones help. :bows:
