You should go in your user CP, and then click on "edit avatar" to choose a default crappy one or a custom one. For the custom one, you can use a URL link or, better a 100x100 max 97.7 KB pic. (jpg, gif)
Otherwise, you can click on "group memberships", and join a group. This will give you an icon\small avatar that will change the more you'll post. It's some kind of rank...
BTW this was the wrong forum, you should have posted this thread in the "Gamingforums Feedback" section. I guess that since The question have been answered, it won't be a horrible and giant problem:)

uh i done that and chose sauron as my icon BUT it says a url adress or something. The other thing it says is this thing saying browse next to it and i don't know what to browse so any help would be much appreciated.:nodding:

oooookay, then: go in your User CP, click on "edit Avatar". You'll see your current avatar, a list of avatars of games, and at last, the custom avatar option. You must go there.
Click on "use custom avatar", and go in the " Upload an Avatar From Your Computer:" section. Then search for your avatar in your comp, then upload it! Remember that The maximum size of your avatar must be 100 by 100 pixels and smaller than 97.7 KB. Then click on "save changes" button, and you'll have your avatar!

Personally, I find the so-called "crappy" avatars you get to be good. I like my enterprise E one. I also liike star trek.

mmh. Here things get more complicated. You have to put your custom avatar in a site, or at least, take it from an existing one. Then all you have to do is:

_ go in your userCP
_ click on "edit signature"
Write this where you want your signature pic to be

[IMG=]httP://www.yoursite.com/yoursignaturepic.JPG[/img]

That's it. Remember that your sig pic have limits. It MUST be less than 800x200. Respect those limits or your signature will be removed and you'll never have it back (maybe...)
