If you mean to run a private server just for friends who you've given password then you set that just before you click begin when setting up a server, there is an option there.

Yeah it is possible cause somone did it when i was on a non passworded server they put it on while i was on the server then i could not get back in!

I believe the command is g_password "password" and to turn it off g_password 0
