Default Help Please

I have a problem. Whenever I load a mod, my framerate starts to look like a slideshow. When I change the video so it doesn't tax my comp as much, the framerate stays the same. I was wondering, do mods normally do this kinda thing (because when I don't use mods my framerate is good and I don't get lag) or should I get a new graphics card? (I have sh*tty shared RAM now)

try looking at the settings for the mods before going into servers, if that dont work, try deleting and reloading the mods...

What do you mean by looking at the mod settings? If you meant the server settings, If I create a server and play as the server my framerate is still slow.

you know, load the game, and go into the "setup" options and take a peek at things there... might solve your probs, might not... dunno but it's worth a shot.

I already tried to lower the video options so it wouldn't tax my comp as much... I guess I'll try again when I get home.

Hey Exit, could you help me out here?

My framerate is slow even in the startup screen! Not just when I start the game, all the time after I load the mod!

Any mod does this, I tried three or four of them, forceMod, JediMod, PhatMod, and Masters of the Force.
