cant find servers
 

ok i use to be able to play with my vs 1.02 that was on the cd but when i ran the 1.04 update i couldnt find any servers any were i couldnt even find the local servers i made. So i unistalled and deleted ever thing and installed from the cd again and it didnt work either

Uninstall it again, then find and delete your old gamedata folder before reinstalling. I think that helped me when I had that problem.

Did you allow the jk2mp.exe to access the Internet? With a Norton Firewall (for example) you have to allow the exe to access the Internet.

If that doesn't work, download a server browser which shows more servers than the ingame browser. All-Seeing Eye is a good server browser.

Your problem might be that a firewall blocks the realmlist.

start jk2, minimaze it.

cmd - > netstat -n

then press get new list

type netstat -n fast again

then you see new items in it, the ports who are listed got to be forwarded.

if you have a router this shouldnt have a problem because its incoming short data.
