Skinn question

OK, I downloaded some skins for the first time today, I unzipped them into my base folder, but i cannot for some reason access them ingame.... I have used weapons and maps succesfully, but I have no idea why I can't get the skins to work >.< It's probaly something obvious that I just missed, but please post something to help me.

Thank you in advanced~

SKins dont always work when you install them. I recently downloaded a blade and a homer simpson skin. Only the homer one works. They won't always work.

Re: Skinn question

while we're on this topic, what's the difference between skins and models, i don't want the definitions, I just don't get how there are two different sections for models and skins, when I know that the skin is just the image that is wrapped around the model......

so you only need one section, and that's for models right?

please, someone clear this up for me

Re: Skinn question

There are two sections because one is for NEW models, IE models that someone has made, and the skins section is for just skins, IE the modder did not make the model, he used a pre-existing one. This helps keep people from claiming someone else's model work as their own.
