No sounds?
 

Hey!
I made myself a nice skin and added some new sounds, when i tried it everything was working fine except from the sounds, i couldnt hear my new sounds.

so, i thought maybe there is something wrong with my skin. I downloaded some skins/models from jk2files that had new sounds, but heck they didnt work either.

instead of new sounds i hear the original sounds.

I have reinstalled the game patched it and all that stuff. can't understand what the problem is. the thing is that this is supposed to work and it HAS worked before.http://forums.filefront.com/images/s.../confusedx.gif

Quite odd. You have the sounds.cfg in your skin's folder?

Very strange indeed. The only thing I can really suggest is make sure they're sampled right (44100hz, assuming JK2 and JK3 are the same in that respect) and they're in mono and not stereo.

But if they worked before and now they're not, like you said, that's really quite odd.

I'll try to get hold of a prog so that i can convert from stereo to mono, (if thats the problem) this absolute new skin i havent tried before, but other skins should work. i just dont get it :P

That's two of us, hehe.

I'm not entirely familiar with JO, but they work mostly the same. I'd have to see the PK3 to figure it out -- I'm a visual learner ;)
