Have you got more than one drive? If yes try the other one. Normally it helps if u just tzake out the cd and insert it again ten the menu comes up on its own. Also use this drive then.

Hey,

I'm probably too late, but here is what might be the problem. In your registry, the JKII Launcher keeps track of which drive it was installed with, if you have multiple, and whether or not it is infact installed, so you could check there. Modifying the registry can be dangerous though, so if you odn't already know how, I wouldn't try it, just reinstall. That should work.

Hope maybe that helps a bit.

that#s what i wanted to say in the 1st reply! But this also changes if u just let ur game start with putting in the game cd again and let the autoplay take u to the menu then this config is changed but he said that wouldnt work with him either. I havent got an idea what it could be else.

I used to have this problem. One cause is the one listed above and another is caused by Virtual CD Drives (such as Virtual Drive). You have to make sure the CD/DVD Drive you use most often is the closest to A alphabetically.
For example I have a DVD drive (Q:), a CD/RW Drive (R:) and one Virtual drive (S:). If I tried running the game with the CD/RW drive then it wouldn't read the CD so I'd have to use the DVD drive.
Hope that solves the problem.
