Choppy intro video and cut-scenes...

Hey,

I'm trying to play JK2 on a Win98Se Machine with a GeForce 4 MX 64MB vidcard, 1.1Ghz Duron, DirectX 8.1a... but the intro scenes (LucasArts logo, etc...) are really choppy, video and sound, and the same thing happens with the initial cut-scene of the singleplayer mode, it took like 10 minutes for it to finish, it was that choppy and slow.

There were some video errors also, like when the screens centers on the holo image of Mon Mothma, well the holo image doesn't show properly.

Do you guys have any idea what might be causing this and how to fix it?

Nope i got no idea maybe a faster computer no offfence or a graphic card I'm not sure I'm not a expert in anything lol

old sound drivers can cause this sort of glitchy movie, when did u last update em? as for the animated cut scenes get all the latest drivers for everything and see what happens

i run on a winME with 791mhz celeron & geforce 2 32 meg so u should have no probs

You should also make sure you still have a lot of hard drive space on your computer...when its filled to capacity things tend to slow down and malfunction.

Yes I tried lowering the video settings, that didn't work.

I'll try updating my audio and vid drivers.

I hope that works.
