anoing pplz at my server!

Hi im new here.

and i got a pitty prob.
so... to be exect i got 2 probs.
1. i dont know how to make my server stay on the list when i am not in it.
2.i dont know what to type for kicking or banning ppl.

so plz answer to me.

you need a dedictated server, if you want it to stay open, when you're not on it

just select dedictated in the server menu, you will get back to your desktop and the server box will be open, leave it open and then rejoin your own server

type this into the server box:

set rconpassword myownpw

replace myownpw with a password you like

then ingame type this into console :

/rconpassword myownpw

now replace myownpw with the password you typed into the server box

then you can kick ppl like this:

/rcon kick Padawan

that would kick a player called Padawan

how do i ban ppl too if i want to and where do i type in the server box?

and another thing what is a deticated server i gotta choose?

btw, its easier if u type /rcon status which shows each players number
then u can just /rcon clientkick <client number>

to ban:

get player's ip (type /rcon status to see it) then /rcon addip <ip address>

to remove an ip from the banned list type /rcon removeip <ipaddress>

to view the banned ips: /rcon g_banips
