oooo noo! aggh. i recently compiled a map with a newer version of gtk (jk2 eradiant) and this error came up when i tyied to play.... SV_SetBrushModel: Null wtf is it and how to i fix it?? thanks. (oh, yeah, ive used my own textures) |
Re: oooo noo! Have you made sure there are no 1-unit thick brushes in your map, and that all func_trains and func_rotatings have an origin brush? |
Re: oooo noo! how am i suppossed to find brushes 1 unit thik? |
Re: oooo noo! By looking in your .map file. |
Re: oooo noo! dude, i cant see a brush 1 unit thick by looking at it in radiant. |
Re: oooo noo! ...and why not? |
Re: oooo noo! because i cant. |
Re: oooo noo! That';s the most stupid answer possible. If you don't have the patience to do it, well, forget about mapping, cause patience is a thing a mapper needs - badly. |
Re: oooo noo! no you dont get it i have found one of those connecting lines and i think it points to the problem. but its too small the fricking see or click on. throught the plan or the 3d view. in the end i spent half an hour inverting everything and unclicking each thing which wasnt the broken point. well it works now. btw, is there a way of selecting all object in a certain area, e.g. a drag select box? |
Re: oooo noo! Make a brush that covers that area, then use select -> select insde. |
