hi all ^_^

is there any way to get the game screen (sp/mp, doesnt matter) to play in widescreen and without the lil force/ammo health bar thingy on the bottom? if not, is it moddable?

/cg_draw2d ! will remove all the side extras. To put it back, just type the same thing again. I'm not sure about the widescreen view though.

As Noid_Hex said, the draw2d thing will remove all 2D stuff on the screen (this includes the crosshair, ammo and health things)..

You can also try
cg_drawgun !
to hide/show the gun.


About widescreen... it *might* be moddable.. possible with changing the camera. Though I'm not sure it's possible with the limited source code that's been released. The camera might be hard coded into the engine (or SP source code).
You could try
cg_fov #
where # is an angle.. this does create some warping in the screen, but it shows a little bit more on-screen.
I personally set my FOV to 120.. which I think is the max it will go.

you could just put black tape across the top and bottom of your PC screen...
