Problems With Advent Children First Sword Pack

I seem to be having problems with this sword pack by Osiris. Everytime I use it a lightsaber overlaps it so it looks like it's the first sword with lightsaber core. It also maintains the lightsaber sound. Is this suppose to happen? This also happens with the buster sword by Inyri Forge but the lightsaber blade goes down so it looks like a staff lightsaber for one side and buster sword for the other. Any help would be appreciated

The problem is that you're using Jedi Academy mods in Jedi Outcast.

Then in that case, patch the game to v1.01. Certain upgrades to the engine were made in the v1.01 patch, including the parameter which allows the saber blade to be disabled.

Also, it may help to visit the Jedi Academy section for Jedi Academy problems. More JKA players over there then there are here. :)
