i need to know is there a way to use modview to view your model with its colors on because if so it dose not work for me, thanks

You mean the skin? Yeah, thats the point. Can you tell us how you have your folders set up?

ihave it how it is told in the tutorial but the skin is all white, but when i play it it has colors

Then your .skin file probably has problems.

Hmm. But why would it be fine in-game and not in modview if it was the .skin?

Your .skin file can point to textures that don't exist if the shader does otherwise. Still not sure why people make shaders that way, though.

I know what i did wrong i did not select the default skin every thing is fine now
