Default 1 more problem.

Today i thought lets install a different mod so i installed RotC 5.2 . Well as soon as i tryed to start the game i got this error message : Perception parsing error ! Expect strange bugs. XML parse error-file. .\Data\XML\AI\Templates\Basicrebelliontemplate.XML : file has syntax error. So with forces of corruption i can now only do the original game and NO more mods since ACM 2.4 refuses to work properly and RotM refuses to do the same and the corporate addon is boring me.

I don't think I ever got that...but syntax errors are pretty easy to fix. Download and install XMLPad, open said XML file, and XMLPad should tell you where the problem is. Although I don't know how familiar with coding you are.

Google it, and you'll find it rather quickly. I'm not sure what the website URL is.

Open the program up, and open up the XML with the parse error. The program will tell you the approximate line of the parse error. To translate what that means, XML is dependent on tags:

<Tag>

</Tag>

Where the corresponding tags must look like that. Even if it's like this:

<Tag>

</TAg>

That can result in a parse error. You may find letters missing as well.
