Windows 7 Mod Problems

:confused:I've tried to install the Petroglyph ModLauncher and have installed(i geuss) the FOC Additions mod in the mod folder in my game. but when I open the mod launcher I get an error:

is not a valid Win32 application. (Exeption from HRESULT: 0x800700c1)

with this error/exception thing the launcher will open but shows that I have no mods installed and is useless

Also I am using Windows 7 and I've noticed that I have two different Program Files Folders: Program Files and Program File (x86) I have noticed that I must be careful where I install things

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Re: Windows 7 Mod Problems

The modlauncher just isn't compatable with operating systems after X P. No vista and no Windows 7.

Re: Windows 7 Mod Problems

I was afraid of that cuz the game itself works great but when I install a mod and I attempt to start it I get this error:

An exception has occured. See_logfile.txt _except.txt for details
Press CANCEL to end or RETRY to debug

This happens on every mod I try to run

Your using windows 7 x64 I know this from the information you provided.

The mod launcher is not a compatible 32 bit program that works under x64 Windows OS. You will have to create a bat file launcher for the mod instead OR find a windows x64 compatible version of the launcher.
