i was wondering if theres a way to alter the way the game is paused so u can issue orders to units while the game is paused an then un pause it, kinda like in age of empires
also how can i create or change the random missions that pop up from time to time in the galactic conflict games and how often they do turn up
You mean like how you press the pause button, click your ships and move them and then unpause the game, like how that works in the vanilla game? Yeah pretty sure that already works since the release of the original eaw.
I'm pretty sure the gc stuff is in special events, you'll need to edit the code for those.
I lift up my knife with great rage, stabbing it into the peanut butter jar, pulling out the guts of the jar; it's creamy peanut butter! I slam it with all my wrath onto the slice of bread, as I make a peanut butter sandwich! You're next... jelly.
Yes it does, it just doesn't show the animations of the orders. Try it, let a squadron of bombers idle while ingame, press pause, select em and order them to attack something, unpause.
You'll now see the bomber squadron attacks and doesn't stay idle.
Conclussion: You can issue orders while in pause mode.

I think FoC had them removed, however as you said, they need to be readded I believe..

Also; good to see you posting again Geroenimo, it's been a while.
I knew about it but I never used it, just kinda did everything as it happened
Well my FOC actually makes the AI in GC not attack at all, so that wrecks the entire GC. Not sure why, RaW so far has been the only mod that I tried that actually has an active GC AI. If anyone has a fix for that, that'd be amazing.

No, FoC has them enabled. All you have to do is pause the game and command your units. Then hit resume, and voila-magic!
I know that.....

I think there is a way to make them more active without messing with the LUAs but I'm not sure.... other than I'd just say play on hard or whatever..
