HERE is a black AT-AT, not sure if it's the kind of black you are looking for.

I'm operating under the assumption you can view this model, if not I'll put up some screenshots.

Sadly... I cannot.

Maybe I should look into seeing if I can at least view dds files on a mac though...

I think GIMP works on a Mac:
GIMP - for Mac OS X

And then Google search for a .dds plugin.

I've noticed (On my pc anyway) that there is a large difference between how the texture looks in GIMP, and then in the .alo viewer, the latter of which I think is of closest resemblance to the game. I will try and get some screenies up later.
