Default Death Animations aren't Working

Alright, here's the code for my death clone:

Whenever it dies it doesn't show the animation, it just appears somewhere else. One second it's about to die, then the next when it dies it's all over the place in pieces, not showing the animation, just popping up everywhere. It's kind of hard to describe, the animation just isn't working.

I may be wrong, as I am still amateur, however I think you are missing the following line(which has lead to your problem)

The second line is the animation, I'm pretty sure because I watched one in Alamo.

EDIT:

Sorry, that may be incorrect, I do know that animation are .ALA files, which the code you posted doesn't have.

It is really strange that my death clone doesn't have an ALA file listed, but nor does the Star Destroyer, the Mon Calamari Cruiser, none of them. I have no idea what the xxx death clone model actually does, but I'll fool around with it to see what I can do.

sometimes the death animation is IN the model, like that ISD, other times, it's in a ALA, like most models one can download

This is wierd. Sometimes exporting to ALO corrupts the animation and i get excactly what you describe but with this model everything is as it should be. Does it behave like that in the ALO viewer or only ingame.

You're not trying to use it for EaW (not FoC) are you ?

Ah, warb reminded me. EAW and FOC use different animation formats IIRC, so you need to make sure the model is for the right game.

Oh, that's what it is. So do I just use the Animation Converter to change it to EAW? I didn't know that the two games used two different files. Thanks Warb!
