No the dropdown list is long enough to support 7 or 8 teams.

From what I know it's impossible to get 4 teams in skirmish. But keep on trying, perhaps you'll find the solution.

So 4 teams in skirmish, but 7 or 8 in gc? This gives me an idea...

val had 4 team in one of the foc_additions space skirmish map not sure if it made it to version 5 of foc_addition or not.

I read somehwere that Return of the clones had an additional team (team 4). I may be wrong or just remembering incorrectly.

I looked through all the original XMLs and could find nothing relating to the teams. I think the actual entry of Team 4 is controlled not by the XMLs but by something else, at least that what I am assuming at this point.
