hello fellow modders i have a question for you today. if you werethe commander of a fleet or a government, how would your fleet look? what would be the backbone of your fleet, what kind of fighters would you have, and what would your flagship look like?

mine would be;
Flagship: a personally moddified lucrekulk battle cruiser
Dreadnaught:Executor class ssd
main capitals: sythe class battle cruiser, inexpugnable class command cruiser, nebula class star destroyer
backbone ships:venator class star destroyer, dreadnaught heavy cruiser, hammerhead class cruiser
main frigates:munificant class frigate, bothan assault cruiser, majestic class heavy cruisers
corvette: warrior class gunship, cr-90 corvette, and lancer class frigate
fighters: v-19 torrent, TIE defender, ARC-170, E-wing, Morningstar C
bombers: republic Y-wing, Bwing, TIE Scimitar, K-wing

and yes this is mod related. i am trying to get a census of how many ppl would follow up and give me their opinion for you see i have an extensive ship list and i want to trim it down so please help me out!!!

Backbone Ships: Imperial II-class Star Destroyers, Kedalbe-class Battleships, Dauntless-class Heavy Cruisers

Main Frigates: Ardent-class Fast Frigates, Strike-class Medium Cruisers, Corona-class Frigates, Immobilizer 418-class Cruisers

Corvettes: Lancer-class Frigates, Broadside-class Corvette, Imperial Storm Commando Escort Carriers

Fighters: XJ-Wings, E-Wings, TIE Hunters, Miy'til Starfighters

those are some very interesting picks i would love to face you in battle with the fleet you have picked versus mine to see how they would fare. you see i am redesigning my mod so that it has three to four main factions which will include the CSA, the Sith Alliance, the Republic, and the Mandalorian Empire. each faction will have a commanding flagship that will come with special modifications from others of its type, one star dreadnaught, at least 3-4 main capital classes, 4-5 attack cruisers and destroyers, 4-7 frigate classes, 3-5 corvette/gunship classes, 7-9 fighter/intercepter classes, and at least 5-7 bomber/heavy assault fighter classes. this will input all the ships that i want in the mod while spreading them out evenly so that it wont make the game freeze or glitch up. imagine if you will a galaxy at warwith each other. the republic standing for justice, the sith allaince seeking to destroy the jedi at all cost, the CSA returning the clone war era confederacy to the foil since the former leaders of the confederacy now rule the CSA, and the newly formed mandalorian empire under the command of the newly crowned mandalore the infinite. you will see some intersting ships and characters form many different eras brought back from the depths of time to eliminate this new threat.

exactly. i originallt wanted to make a mod where the republic had an enormous amount of ships but the game froze all the time and was super uber slow. so i thought for a while and came up with this. i have more but i will fill the rest of you in later!!!

flagship: a pitch black venator, twice as big as any other, has cloaking divece, powerd by a stagem reactor with a mac gun :)
other: nothing, its friken stealthy!

Capital: Imperator-Class, Legacy-Class, Keldable-Class, Pallaeon-Class and Valiant-Class Star Destroyers.

Frigate: Victory-Class, Venator-Class, Acclamator-Class, Nebulon B-Class, Doomgiver-Class(JKII Ship :P it's awesome :P) and Leviathan-Class.

Corvette: Consulor-Class, Tartan-Class, CR90-Class, Gozanti-Class, Interdictor-Class, Light Corvette-Class and Imperial Customs Frigate.

Bomber: TIE Bomber, TIE Scimitar and Y-Wing(Republic and Rebel versions)

Fighter: ARC-170, TIE Fighter, TIE Droid, TIE Advanced, TIE Avenger, Z-95 Headhunter and the N-1 Starfighter.

Interceptor: Delta-7, Eta-2, TIE Interceptor, V-Wing.

well it really depends on how you use it. the venator is a capital size ship but the imperials used it like a frigate or a destroyer more than as a capital.

you are all blowing me away with some of the choices and have even changed my mind on some of my own choices. i would probably add the Acclaimator and the Hapan Battle Dragon as well as the Endurance Class Fleet Carrier. but thats the beauty of it, you can choose whatever you want it will help me distribute the ships evenly among the four races.

you see this is the awesome part of all this. one of your fleets are going to be basically the featured fleet for one of the four factions. i am going to compile one of the fleets that i think fits the best discription of the faction i want to have iut andd then we start to localize it but to narrow things down.if you were the leader of the CSA or the Corporate Sector Authority what would you fleet look like? now remember the CSA has alot of money but bought many of there ships used form the clone wars and the empire and form the black market so think hard bc one of the answers i get will be the featured fleet for the CSA in my mod. use the outline i provided for you earlier in the thread for the overall size of the fleet.
