Rescaling Units I just had a question about rescaling units. How is it done? I know that there are some rescale mods out there, but there is a specific mod that I want to edit (don't worry, I'm not going to re-release it). I just want to privately edit this particular mod so that the units are the correct size. Also, where would I get info on the correct sizes? Wookiepedia perhaps? |
Re: Rescaling Units Quote:
don't even try it. unless you take fighters out of the game there is no fucking way you can rescale a fighter to be accurate as a capital. so just leave it be, and don't waste your precious time trying to figure out what looks good and what doesn't. |
Re: Rescaling Units You should listen to Piti |
Re: Rescaling Units Guys, let him try to if he wants, If he has the time and is willing to do it, let him. I dont know, take a look in the Sections Master Modding Sticky, maybe there is something in there. |
Re: Rescaling Units Find <Scale_Factor> tag and edit its value. |
Re: Rescaling Units I tried that already, doesn't work. I'm interested in editing the land units, cuz there is no way stormtroopers are just a little shorter than AT-ST's!:uhoh: |
Re: Rescaling Units Err.. it must work. If it doesn't you're doing something wrong. |
Re: Rescaling Units Ok...I rescaled the ground troops, but now when they fight each other, the lasers never hit their mark. What value in the XML do I need to edit to make the lasers smaller and accurate? |
Re: Rescaling Units oh i love that. i accidently did that to a jedi starfighter, my units massed behind it and could not hit them. i think accuracy might be in the units data or hardpoints, the one that has the star fighters laser if that makes sense to you. |
