He downloaded it from the Model pack me and a few friends released, It's on eawfiles.com.

But yeah, the things I'd watch out for are the colorization colors and the scaling. If you want further tips, contact me through the pirate/home defense faction thread, since it'd be kind of off topic to go into detail here probably...

Nah i'm good, i just used the coding i made for my TIE Hunter, just changed the models an names etc. the shader level ingame had to be higher to see the skin tho .

Good luck with the pirate thing, cant think of many ships bigger then a fighter that they use really so i'll check it out.

In regards to the skin, I found that these work well for making it look good:
Regular Colors:
<No_Colorization_Color>255,255,255,255</No_Colorization_Color>
Slightly purple tint:
<No_Colorization_Color> 220, 220, 255, 255 </No_Colorization_Color>
Slightly Orange Tint:
<No_Colorization_Color> 255, 235, 195, 255 </No_Colorization_Color>
Slightly Yellow Tint:
<No_Colorization_Color> 255, 245, 185, 255 </No_Colorization_Color>

Recommended scale factor:
Something between:
<Scale_Factor>0.13</Scale_Factor>
and
<Scale_Factor>0.20</Scale_Factor>

The thing is, I have a good deal of the "right" icons on my computer here and there, but I don't know how to include them in the grand picture thing that has all of them on it. I've learned to do without for now, but yeah... I tried figuring out how to do it a while back, but ran into trouble.

On to bigger ships..
The Y-8 Mining ship. This model was made by Kalo shin and textured by me.

This is not a release. I need some help first to finish it up.

I don't play galaxies so somebody please tell me.. How big is this ship. (corvette size, Frigite size?) Kalo tells me it's armed with several turrets but i can't find a single pic of it with turrets , so where are they placed an how do they look.
