ANEB: The Rise of the Republic
 
A New Era Begins: The Rise of the Republic

I know i canceled ROTE, but hopefully my new mod series will be succseful.

This uncannon mod takes place thousands of years before the Jedi Civil War, when the republic was first formed.

This mod is being built form ground up, as in units and othr stuff, and it will feature 4 factions

The Repubic
The Independant Systems or TIS
Pirate Raiders
Kelek Empire

All factions will be playable, ground battles will be eliminated due to i cant find any ground models.

There will be new sectors in space called Empty Space which is like the Maw in way, but all over the palce and sometimes there will be an asteroid field here and there.

The models im using are not ingame models, like star destoyer and liek that, but i will use a few in rare cases.

If you would like too help pm me or reply, help will be GREATLY liked.

hmm, this sounds very cool, I'd love to see this mod come through, I'd help but right now I am busy making my game Space Legacy. If this is still around in liek 6 monthst I'd be happy to help if its not done?

And for ground units, make them up, look at the stuff from the Hyper-Space War (I have the cominc collection abou it) and take that stuff and down grade it a few thousand years.

Also back at that time space battles and large fleets of ships were few and far inbetween, I'd foucas more on the land battles cuase ships then were primitive and couldn't do much.....

(if you didn't know already I am a historian on the Old Republic, If you need factulay info let me know)

Yes and there is very little info on this, but most defently you will have to make up about 95% of every thing in the game, but good luck, it all has to be fairly low tech, lol...........

wait...in the war do they fight with lasers or swords/spears? cuz i read it in a book somewhere.

well if you need any help with ground units i am a concept artist if you guys are interested PM me and i will send you somethin so i can start makin' some units.

Get a modeler, there is a OMG Release that has a Defiler with Enegy Swords.

well i got one of my first units coded in, itd called Axis Assault Shuttle(its a fighter)

Why Axis?
It is from the Axis Corporation which makes some of the first space craft wiht weapons
srry i couldn't get a better pic

oh yeha other stuff i'll try too put in:
All units have little or no hyperspace speed
The only way too get credits is from scavenging from other units, the ZC thing were u destroy a unit and u get money
SpacePorts; Ground based strucures for building space units
No SpaceStations
Most units will have an uncannon history thing in their tooltip
Have jedi/sith units

Changes from Earlier:
Kelek Empire Will not be playable
there will be ground battles, but it will take time

cool model, looks very fiting for the time era, nice work.....but why romove them empire guys, they are a key part in the unifaction wars.....there like the galactic empire of there day......you got to have them in this?

ya well, back then the Republic didn't have the maens to make good fighters, most of them were very cheap, basic, and weak, the technology just couldn't keep up with the rate the Republic was expanding. I could go into to why this happened but it could take hours.....

the soldier will already be on the animal when its dropped off.


and BTW with permission form the leader i want there to be light,medium,and heavy Cav. units.

go head, do it, kerr no one rigged it for me it froms the petroglyph delevpers netowork, hmm maybe the republic wont be playable idk which onw do u guys think shouldn't be playable, 4 is too many factions for me, so which one shouldn't be playable but they would be like pirates:

More Updates:
Added Kelek Long Range Cruiser too the game

Even more news:
Each faction will have long range cruisers and short range cruisers

Long:
Strengths=Fast cruisers, have hyperdrives
Weaknesses=Weak Weapons, Weak sheilds, and hulls

Short:
Strengths=Strong Weapons, Sheilds, Hulls
Weaknesses=No Hyperdrive, slow, takes FOREVER to get too another planet(hyperspaace speed set too .1)

The pirate Raiders were taken out for reasons, i'll explain later, Kelek Empire is know playable

Now ive decided stengths and weaknesses for each Faction

Kelek Empire:
Strengths=Large Forces, Uses up too date hyperdrives
Weaknesses=Outdated craft/weaopns/sheilds, ships are mostly slow

Republic:
Strengths=Uses Up to date technology
Weakneses=Small forces, Small Sector in space, not vey many cruisers/frigates

Tis/The Independant Systems:
Strengths= Large Ships, up too date blaster rifles, missles
Weaknesses= Most vessels have no hyperdrive, no organization of planets(random planets in gc), little or no help from the Axis Corporation

Why no Pirate Raiders?
1. Hmm couldn't think of a good reason why too make them
2. What inportance, would they have?
3. Couldn't think of a back story....

i haves a question who will be the 2 main fighting sides in the war. i know the republic is 1 but who is the other side.

ok then spock, the theme of space units is FINS like on sides and tops and bottoms

Ok the 2 Main Factions of the mod Are:
The Kelek Empire
Republic

The Kelek empire wants too be the only dominat faction in the galaxy and the republic is growing too fast, of course, the i'll equiped republic tries to fight off this empire from stoping their dream/goal, the empire wiht their vast army and supplies trys to fight them off, but we all know who wins in the end, after years of war the war stops all of a sudden the Kelek empire just fell and colapsed then too save what is left of their empire a sith lord comes forth and renames the faction the Sith Empire and 2,000 years later the Jedi Civil War begins.

what do you think of the story guys?

Well, at this Time the jedi order is very small, and not of much use. And I think you miss-understood what I meant be flopped boat design I ment liek this: Image:KorosBattleship.JPG - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki

So I dont understand what you ment by fins? The Koros ships often used wings and fins of different shapes and sizes and angles, but at this time I am pretty sure that Koros is not in the Republic and that the Republic Navy is mostly mad up of Rouge/random vessels that can fight and is basic the galaxies best know militia.

But that ship design is a Koros ship but it was based off of an earily republic design. So thats what I ment by Flopped ship look....

I can model fairly well, but not with G-max......I just dont under stand it and the toturial dont help.. I am for the past week I have been doing lots of wrok on my web site, and for the next year or so I will be making my own game. But Ill tell you, you are a very good modeler, very good...

ugh!!!! You dont know what Koros is!! AGH!!! How the bloody **** don't you know what Koros is! Ok I take it back, you may need my help on this. I should go though and help you plan out your ship design before you go any further in ship design.

how bout i make some designs from each class and tell me wat u guys think of them. all you have to do is tell meh wich 1 to do first. i will make 3 concepts for each class.

*fighter
*corvette
*frigate
*crusier
*attack crusier
*dreadnaught

Well i got a talking too, XD. ANEB will be combined with my illforgoten ROTE2 ot create A New Era Begins: Reign of the Empire

Ir will feture 3 playable faction, for the game foc:
The Galactic Alliance
The Corporate Sector(Uncannon)
The Kelek Empire(Uncannon)

it will still have the Long range short range cuiser thing, but for the Kelek Empire only

No empty space thing

There still will be the Axis Coporation
A demo will be out tomowrow

well i dont know anything about the faction you have posted so i am wondering what ias the standard shape of yr ships for example: the standard shape of a star destroyer is a dagger-shaped or triangular-haped ship

ok i will surprise ya, i got G-max it was the only 1 i could find, i already made some clone trooper helmets and both clone guns.


oh and btw i dl yr mod its cool but there is 1 slight bug in it, the destroyer droids dont do anything they just stand there and they dont even attack.
