Changing indigineous affiliation Hi! I'm working on a mod that would be connected with Mandalorian Wars and Jedi Civil War for FOC, but I have a problem with indigineous units. I convert ed ZC into Mandalorians with capital planet of Mandalore, but I have no idea how to change affiliation of mandalorian militia from hostiles to Mandalorians. I tried changing affliliation of Mandalorian_Spawn_House in GROUNDSTRUCTURES.XML, Mandalorian_Indigenous_Company in GROUNDCOMPANIESINDIGENOUS.XML and Mandalorian_Indigenous in GROUNDINDIGENOUS.XML, but it didn't affect those on Mandalore's land map. Is there any way of solving this without creating new map? |
Re: Changing indigineous affiliation Extract the existing map, click on the mando barracks spawners, change its affiliation, save, and then shove that in your art/maps folder for foc. There you go. |
Re: Changing indigineous affiliation Thanks for replying. I know I can do that but the problem is that my foc map editor doesn't want to generate map overview (the option is grey and I can't click it)which is quite useful while defending planet. |
Re: Changing indigineous affiliation Rockin Idea for a mod Put it on filefront and ill download it quickly |
Re: Changing indigineous affiliation what do you mean by map over veiw??? do you mean looking at it from an egal veiw or something |
Re: Changing indigineous affiliation Are you sure that when you edit the map it doesn't use the stock planet preview? It should work. |
Re: Changing indigineous affiliation Some days ago I edited Coruscant's map in order to remove jedi temple decoration (I prepared it as a special structure so I don't need clone of it on the map) and when I replaced the original map, the image showed in stock planet preview was same as in planet's details (without command points and places for structures). PS. I am affraid I can't release it because it is rather a rewritten version of AoSW mod than my own work (I used most of AoSW models because I'm not a modeler). I only expanded it a bit so I don't want to be accused of plagiarism. |
