Forum Rules: Please Read

Okay, now I wasn't actually going to do this, but seeing as alot of you are still continuing to break the rules, I am going to have to. The rules for this forum are as follows;

1). Stay on topic: I want to see everyone talking about Star Wars EAW in here. This isn't the car forums, or General Discussion, or the Battlefield 1942 forum. These are the Star Wars EAW Forums. Hence, stay topical to the thread. We will move or delete posts that are off topic.

2). Be polite: Don't be rude to your fellow gamer. We are all here for the same purpose, which automatically means that you are no higher or lower in rank or greatness than the next person. Any flaming will result in you being warned.

3). Respect the Staff: This is a very important rule. The thing that needs to be remembered is the fact that the moderators and the admins do alot of work to make sure that the forums are moderated, and under control. They don't need extra disrespect to top off the cake. Disrespecting a staff member will get you warned. The second offence is another warning and an email to a higher icon of authority. The third offence gets you banned.

4). Do not spam: Recently, there have been alot of spam orientated posts. This includes something like a collection of smilies (or just one smiley), or a short post (3 or 4 words). Please put effort into your posts. I will remain lenient for the time being, but if the amount of spam posts rises, I will begin cleaning out threads and deleting some posts.

5). Signature rules: Please note that the maximum size of signatures is 800x160 pixels. This includes text and images. Anything any bigger will be removed.

Please add some more effort to your posts. I am getting rather tired of deleting posts for complete lack of effort. Let me elaborate as to what is acceptable, and what isn't.

"We've updated our mod. We've added <insert random things here>"

Replying by saying...

"Wow, that's cool", or, "Awesome!" or anything of the sort is not acceptable and is blatant spam. However, replying like this...

"Wow, this is looking great. <insert reasons why, and perhaps some tips on how to improve the mod maybe by inputting your own ideas>" is perfectly fine, as it contains some effort.

Also, the chat has to stop. What I mean is, if you want to discuss a mod, you're more than welcome to, but continual spam comments one after another is also unacceptable. All I ask is for you all to put effort into your posts. Failure to do so will result in them being deleted.
