It's time to Say Goodbye.....

(please read Spoiler!)

to say goodbye to the odd vanilla Techlevelsystem!

I found out how to set that system off and put my own techsystem in.
Now i can create an own Techlevelsystem for Imp, Rebs and CorSec.

no longer stupid "press a research button for a new techlevel" or something

now you can research that units that you want... and one or two are "keytechnologies" to jump in to the next level (wich goes now automaticly)

sorry for my bad english today.

now i'm codin on..

need someone who converts me some *alo into max file. (about 5-8 files)

the alo files are mostly from vanilla FoC. i need the max file to make new buttons (without textures)

that alo importer doesn't work at my system don't know why.

plz help someone ...

hm ok.

as the empire you have some core units (for example: stormtrooper, jetbikes, dreadnought, broadside...) the rest u must research. also you decide which weapon the empire will get or not.
so if you never used the empire artilery or if you don't like the strike cruiser .. don't research it ;)

one or two are keytechnologies in a "techlevel" that you must research (its needed to set a new techlevel for the system) and if that is done u will put automaticly into the next techlevel and then they'll time after time or event after event ;) you will get new technologies to research....

but there will only around 3 or 4 places to research. so that the research buttons aren't everywhere.

i think thats enough for that point :)

not all new units will replace old units.

That on the pics is simple.. maybe the next update will show you that change to a new techlevel when u researched one of that 4 Keytechs ;)

Are you gonna do anything with the Rebel tech?

Oh, and I don't know what was the purpose for such planet locations but I guess you didn't want to stick to canon.

so here it is:

the update ;)

on the video you can see the research of the Tie Interceptor (which is the key from tech 2 to 3) after the research the new level is 3.

and no it is not a fake :P ;)

Cool, but.....

please please please.... tell me you know the Peallon SD is form the Legacy era, nearly 100 years after the Battle of Endor.....

The mod looks cool, but is it crossing eras?

yes it is crossing era's..... ok that isn't everone's thing but who dont like it, don't play it :)

example for that crossing thing...... you'll start as empire close after palpatine claimed imperator with grey venator's etc... that Pallaeon SD will only avaible at tech 5 as a prototype unit.

ahh! ok, its just a proto type, as long as they can't be massed produced, it sounds fine to me. Sorry if I was poking around a bit, I am just a major star wars historian. :)
