They allow their stuff to be used in the games and modeled. Licenses are created and bought by gaming companies in return for using someone's concept. If you guys take a pic and make a model out of it guess what? You still don't own it. They have everything from names and diagrams trademarked and copyrighted. All this fighting about who owns what and gets credit for what means nothing. If someone takes the time to make something or work on something should they get the credit, personally I believe so. Does any one mod have the right to threaten another, I think not. I am sooo tired of threats on here about using this or that. If you don't want your stuff used then don't put it out there and keep it personal. Lucasarts allows mods but I highly doubt they want people claiming credit for concepts they created and you guys have copied. In the end all you are all doing is copying concepts created by someone else that none of you own. |
