the tutorial DOES work. But I am having problems with the textures. You see, I've copied the textures to the EAW destinations in the art folder but when I use the aloviewer the textures are not shown.
also, the tutorial does not mention anything about setting the unit size for specialized needs (like how big a fighter should be, for example)

You can use ALO viewer to compare it's size to stock game fighters and resize it properly in max.

Ok, and here's the last part of the texturing business - the V19 Bomber. Notice how I've added the proton torpedo extension under the hull. (this version of the V-19 is non-canonical)
