Halo: Covenant at War

Well, with my new 3DS Max 8, I figured out how to take the Halo Models, resize them to match Empire at War, and save them in .ALO format. It's pretty much ground vehicles, but I have a few space in there (A Covenant Cruiser and The Pillar of Autumn, along with some Longswords and Jets). Anyways, this shouldn't take too long, as the models are, as I said, already done. I just need to import the Master Chief model, give him a gun, export, take the POA model, add bones, export, ect.

In other words, I have a way to make a good Halo mod. It won't focus much on the Heroes, but it will have space and it is about the events leading up to and including Halo.

Anyways, the 1st unit list is as follows:

HUMANS:
Land:
Warthog
Rocket Warthog
Scorpion M-8 Main Battle Tank
ATV
Longsword
Jet
Marines
Marine Commander
Mythos

Land Heroes:
Master Chief
Capitain Jacob Keyes
Sargent Johnson

Space:
Longsword
Jet
Kedable-Class Battle Cruiser
MAC Guns
Kestral

Space Heroes:
Capitan Jacob Keys (The Pillar of Autumn)
Miranda Keyes (In Amber Clad)

COVENANT:
Land:
Ghost
Banshee
Wraith
Drop Ship
Grunt
Hunter
Elite
Jackal
Scarab

Land Heroes:
Arbiter
Tarturus

Space:
Drop Ship
Covenant Capital Ship

Space Heroes:
Prophets (High Charity)

FLOOD (non-playable)
Land:
Flood Infection Form
Elite Infection Form
Marine Infection Form
Flood Combat Form
Flood Carrier Form

This is just the 1st installment, so I only covered the basics.

Re: Halo: Covenant at War

You do realise that releasing this would be illegal if you are taking the models from Halo? I doubt Microsoft would give you permission, especially since they are more inclined towards shutting Halo mods down then helping set em up.

Err? Assuming you were still talking to me, what do you mean by that?

Re: Halo: Covenant at War

But you also are forgetting the very slightly modified Halo CE stuff.

Where else do you think I'm going to get the Longswords? :D

Re: Halo: Covenant at War

What I'm saying is taking models from Halo games is illegal... Unless I just misunderstood that post.

Re: Halo: Covenant at War

The Halo CE stuff is all user-created content, so Microsoft has no involvement.

Anyways, I have a screenie:
