Enabling Pirates - Tutorial.
 
Hello, Lets begin...

First off OPEN up your FACTIONS.XML

Find the black sun pirates entry and change the <Is_playable_?> from False to true,

Now Go to your Campaigns_singleplayer.XML

And add this entry JUST AFTER Sandbox_empire_at_war_empire

This is just basic coding people...Everything ive done in this thread to the units can be done to everything else Thats why its not in depth and its not that hard...Note : I didnt include some awnsers for...Such as pirates retreating it has [Missing], Figure it out...i had to...

For the retreating text there is an entry in factions.xml. Copy it from either the Empire or the Rebellion then change the text. You'll need new text entries of course.

I've got a neat DAT editor if you're interested.
