Help with V 1.3 addon

Hello, I am having a small problem.

I got the Convo Pack 2.0 with the V 1.3 addon today, and I am really getting tired with the updated HUD. I looked up how to disable it, I went to menu.bat, and I did the process, I went back into the game, and there is that freakin' HUD again. Any other way to fix this?

Isn't it something like disablehud.bat and not mode.bat? though I'm not sure I haven't bothered with the HUD yet.
