Complete BF2 Guide
 

Will someone tell me if they would like to work on a complete guide for Bf2 it would include modding tips and links all the controls and so much more if you would like to join in and help you would have to have a good knowledge of the game like I do so just email me at wierd165@yahoo.com if you would like to help with the complete guide to BF2:) .

There is a strategy guide for Bf2 and there is plenty of documentation with BF2 Modtools. Medals and awards are listed in-game in the Career tab.

No I meant like a project for all the people who need help with BF2 all the time! A big Folder of BF2 Controls and more!

Maybe I could help with the modding part of the guide, if it ever comes to frutrition. I have a good amount of experience in modding and have made a few maps (only one released, but never uploaded to BFfiles...yet) that are modded versions of Geonosis, Kamino, and Mos Eisley (my first three projects). I also know all of the game controls (and the throwing detpack glitch).
I am busy at this time of year with Christmas, New Years and whatnot, so I'm not completely available.

-Any Microsoft program like word etc.
-And must beable to help with any part of the guide!

Ok...I might have sent you like 4 PM's on accident since there is this rule on waiting 25 seconds after PMing, but it said I have to wait in 3686 seconds or something.....very weird.

Well this is like a guide with more stuff like guides and good links and stuff.
It will be a good guide maybe not as good as gametoast but better allaround!

A Simple Observation: This "guide" will never exist because it is not being organized and is not happening. "Well this is like a guide with more stuff like guides and good links and stuff."-Wierd165 notice the "stuff" part(obviously not being organized.). So it should be organized better if it is going to get done.

I have already started on the modding part of it, LastJedi. I think we should have a modding guide here on these forums, too. It'll eventually be an alternative to those who don't know about gametoast, don't like it, or don't want to join it (they cancelled registration anyway).

EDIT: I hate to play Jr. Moderator, but maybe you should have used the edit button instead of double posting.

well we could simple direct them to gametoast from here. teancum and fusion know more than any of us here. u dont need to be a member to view the forums. have u even seen how large thier modding guide is?

I think we'll eventually beat that guide, but it'll take some time. I learned many things from gametoast, and I'll apply them to this guide when the time comes.

No offence, but your planning on beating more than 30 pages of tutorials from the most advanced SWBF2 modding community + thier ENTIRE WIKI FULL OF MODDING INFO? the forum registration may be cancled but ANYONE can post in the wiki. I suppose i dont want to start a flame war so ill just come back when the guide is "done" and laugh at how small it is compared to gametoast.

you seriously want a guide on all the bugs and glitches in the game O.o
i guess it could help the server admins watch those areas and ban any1 who attempts it... i guess ill get started o.O

EDIT: on second thought i cant. today is my last day of winter break and mid terms are exactly one week from now. maybe some other time.

Off Topic: I like you new sig, Hector_Fett. I also have to tell you that there is a sound bug with the AB-42 source files.
I set it to the chaingun sound, thinking it would play normally. But it turned out that the chaingun's, or, more properly, the Z-6 Rotary Blaster Cannon, sound was a continuous sound that gets really loud as you fire the weapon. I changed it to the Republic pistol sound and the commando pistol sound, so each sound should play randomly. (I got a new unofficial signature! It's my code for Elite Pirate no. 782 "Wolf", which would make me the 782nd Elite Pirate made. I also made this up! Yeah!!!)

I agree with StarWarsGeek in the sense that GameToast already does have a very good tutorial system, BUT... I believe that this will not hurt the SWBF2 community, but will rather help it. Many people don't know of GameToast, and never will, so why not make one here? Obviously we can't direct EVERYONE to GameToast, so...

StarWarsGeek, you've got some points, and Phazon_Elite, you've got some points. And I'm not trying to be a junior moderator, but guys! SORT IT OUT OR SHUT UP! :P

ok well I have been working on this for a while even before i released this forum! Dohnutt u maybe right but PLEASE dont take sides ok. It just makes it worse. But in a sense i was a part of the problem so yes....lets end it guys now understand if i have to worry about this forum being executed because of some comments weve made i would not be doing the guide i made this for help and guidelines for the BF2 community! I love this game dont let a problem get in the way! Thanks u two i really think u could help with guide starwarsgeek but just leave this forum alone if your going to act like that cause u made us mad! Thanks,
