I'm kinda new here.

A pal of mine and I are kinda new to the whole SWBFII modding scene. Just downloaded the modding-pack and we both are having a little bit'o'trouble with zero editor. A little help please??? Test me on what hasn't been done.

1. Can't get the buildings to show up after followin' the tutorial. They show up on editor, but after munging, not in the game.

2. Can't get non-original vehichles (Wookie Caterman, Kaadu, K-Wing, you get it, right) to show up. Only the original stuff (AT-ST, AAC Hovertank, LAAT/I, ect...). I'm pretty sure all the steps were followed.

3. Is there a guick'and'easy tutorial on how to edit units? I don't want to create a whole new trooper, I just want to change around some of the skins, guns, and abilities. I have XSI editor already.

4. How do I go in and edit the original maps, sides, and mission.lvl files?

5. Where is a site in which I can find vehicles like the MTT, Rebel Light Speeder, B-Wing, and different weapons files?

Thanks a'million

Im new too and I don't know all those answers, but if you want to take premade maps from bf2 and change them, just load the wld file of the map from the assests folder and open it in zeroedit. Once there, resave it as your map name. once thats done, you can treat it as if you made it and change around anything you want.

If you want to use bf1 maps, download the bf1 mod tools and copy the bf1 assests folder into bf2 mod tools. bf1 objects and textures work in bf2's map editor
