Expansion Speculation

Having watched the three endings to the three campaigns, it is obvious that there will be a direct expansion to Supreme Commander. When I am not sure, but it should be later on in 2007, early 2008 at least!

UEF Ending:
- Swarm of yellow dots (enemy units,) appear on UEF radar in the empty control room.

Cybran Ending:
- QAI warns Dr. Brackman that "They are coming." We can only assume "They" are some sort of other alien race/invaders, possibly the Seraphim but I'm not sure about this.

Aeon Ending:
- The Princess is shown in one of her "dreams," and comments "No! Not them!" If it was the Seraphim, why would she say this?

My theory is that the 4th race will be the arch-enemies of the Seraphim, who fought these other aliens for milennia. The Seraphim tought the Aeon about these invaders and how they defended the galaxy from them. This explains why the Aeon are so fightened to see them, if it was the Seraphim they would be all smiles and rejoicing!

The UEF ending is not very helpful, but the Cybran ending reveals a bit more, QAI speaks as if it knows who "They" are, and initiates some sort of protocol to maybe deal with this new threat.

Alot of people don't even get to see these end cutscenes, they are confronted by the "Black Screen of Death" so they have to exit to windows and don't see the endings!

I don't know why this happens, it happens only on my UEF campaign, Cybran and Aeon are fine

And regarding the topic, what do you think the 4th race would be?

bad ass aliens? or another human faction we have not heard of? enemies dunno though playing the next campaign will be quite to play different if you start from each factions ending...
all we can do is speculate...

i got the black screen of death after completing all the campiagns,
what i had to do was save before activating black sun then once i reloaded the game from the black screen just win again then it worked.

with the cybran ending i got the impresion that QAI was in leauge with the unkown race.

Actually i think QAI may have been corrupted by that "seraphim" tech, there may have been a reason to keep the 'seraphim" tech on "shelves" and not use it. look what happened to Mach... and with the quantum gate network destroyed who knows whats going to happen next.

didnt QAI live in the quantum gate network, it sed somthing about theat in the aeon campaign

I'm sticking to my theory about it being an invading alien race

If QAI was corrupted by the Seraphim tech and it initiated some "protocol" as if it knew what to do... whether this was to help the invaders or take over completely to repel them is another matter.
