Inverted Y axis

I can't save my configuration. When I play Legacy to go up I must press "Down", to go down i must press "Up" on my keyboard. In settings there is an option Inverted Y axis, and two possibilities "on" and "off", when i set it on "on" everything is ok, the thing is fixed and up is up, and down is down, but the game doesn't remember my settings so when I restart the game the setting in on off and the keys are inverted.

How do I get it to be on "on" all the time, without me puting it on "on" every time I start the game?

yea, keyboard. sry for that stupid question. hm...I have no idea why this happened. actually it should only invert the axis for the mouse...

Yeah, but it's inverting my keyboard and not the mouse, an I can't save my changes to it. I have stock Legacy with few added ships, but this error is bugging me since I've installed the game.
Please Help.

are you running a patched or non-patched game?

if your not running a patched game then try patching it. the only thing is your chunks won't work if you patch it. i never used that feature but i was having a similar problem with the shader setting in options menu... it would not stay on after i exit until i patched it. but, i like my chunks so i deal with it un-patched.

the patch can be found hear if you don't have it... Official Patch 1.1 & 1.2

Which mouse and keyboard do you use?
