I made a download of trek battles two think i could just override it with a redownload of UU 1.5, and had to purge and reload the game. Afterward i had the idea to check the stock game, turns out the minuteman is a stock ship, like the ent-era strider.

Well, ok forget the ship. I wonder if UU2.0 beta can be downloaded from anywhere, or is it for certain people?

I recommend applying for a beta testing position, otherwise I doubt you will get it.

Usually there is no release date announced before the mod is almost completed. And asking a modder when he's ready with his stuff, is like breaking an unwritten rule, so avoid doing that ;)
If you want to get updates regarding UUM 2.0 I recommend checking their website and forum.
