Gameplay: TNG era, Mission 1

Anyone got any tips on how to get through mission 1 in the TNG era. Like what ships best to buy, or best way to deploy my ships. Also I can't seem to be abel to leave my ships for a second. I tell them to "Fire at will" but right after they destroy 1 target they come to a stop; how do I get them to keep going after targets?

If it is strength you need for the mission I can help. Just edit the .odf files of the ships you have and make them stronger. You can give them better shields, more health, a cloak, or what ever! Once your ship is modded you should have no problem beating the level. As for getting your other ships to continue attacking the best way is to always have all the ships selected and then choose fire at will. As long as the lead ship fights the others should fight with you.

i just used sov. sec.31 refits (3 of them) and they worked every time. probably a bit of overkill though
