Need Help
 

For about a month I've been working on a wells port from a public mesh on Bc Files. I'm having the problem of not being able to make bumps or specs using gimp, and when ever i try to load a DDS file to milk shape it crashes.:confused: Ive gotten the the ship to work ( its actually a god ship ) but it is translucent.

Help would be appreciated :rolleyes:

translucency - no damage mesh.

cant do speacs? - you got gimp

dds loading problem - texture files too big? or maybe just wait for it to load.

Or you have more than one Alpha channel...that will cause loading errors in MS3D.

Okay. I'll try the damage thing. With the DDS textures the windows in MS3D go white and the windows comes up saying " MS3D has stoped working"

try lowering resolution of the texture or, as g.data said, make sure theres one alpha channel.

I've uploaded it to the site with bitmap textures and it isn't completly finished, the icon is about it.
