Default A fresh perspective?

I am not sure if this against tyhis forums rules, but if it is I apologize.

I however stumbled on to a game which is..... well fantastic & my goal is just to get others to try it and hopefully mod it.

The game is called Starshatter The Gathering Storm, and let me tell you this game is amazing! It says right on the box that it was made to be moddable into ANY sci fi genre! (Star Trek, Bab5 , Star Wars, Wing commander etc..) It comes with its own mod menu in the game that allows you to easily disable and enable various mods and it comes with all its own modding tools.

Apart from its ease in modding the game itself is amazing and features what they call a "dynamic campaign" which goes on in real time even while you are in the menus and while you yourself are in a misson, making it theoretically possible to lose the war even if you have won all the missons you participated in.

It allows you to take on the role of a fighter pilot, starship commander or Admiral of the fleet in all FIVE dynamic campaigns. Each dynamic campaign is calculated by the AI and the state of the war at that moment in time so you will never play the same mission exactly as it was twice!

As a fighter pilot you can take of right from the carrier bay or starbase bay and approach a planet go into its atmosphere, fly around on the planet doing air strikes then literally climb back into space and return for a landing on the carrier or starbase, or mabey more space operations.

As a starship captain you obviously command a larger capital ship, but in a very cool unique way. You can pilot the ship yourself using either the keyboard, mouse or joystick, or you can let helm do the work and move by giving orders to the helm with nautical like headings. At any time you can give command to the first officer who will do a fantasic job and return with a "captain on the bridge" notification, which I personaly find cool.

As an admiral you are in command of the carrier or starbase and its up to you to send and deploy fighter wings, destroyer & frigate groups and massive cruisers into batlle both in space and orbital fights in the theater of operations.

The game has amazing graphichs and HUGE maps (takes about 40 min. in real time to cross)!

Again it is not my intention to offend anyone or fileront forums with this post I simply wanted to get a little attention on a game which I consider to be a SERIOUS alternative to legacy.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Captain Julian Nova

So sorry for the double post!!!!
